As part of its ongoing journey of accompanying and supporting local communities, SPHACY has recently carried out a charitable initiative in Muong Pon Commune—an upland, border-area locality in Dien Bien Province where ethnic minorities account for over 90% of the population and the poverty rate remains high.

To help improve living conditions and provide additional motivation for local students, SPHACY contributed VND 30,000,000 to support the following:

      –   Installation of solar-powered lighting systems for public areas in the commune.

      –   Provision of 30 scholarships for students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have achieved good academic results.

      –   Nearly 20 gift packages were offered to families of war invalids and martyrs to help improve their living conditions.

Representatives of the Muong Pon Commune leadership extended their gratitude to SPHACY, acknowledging the company’s care and support for residents in the border region. This meaningful initiative not only helps improve the daily lives of local people but also encourages students’ passion for learning.

Sharing about the significance of the program, Mr. Vu Van Thanh – General Director of SPHACY – stated:
“SPHACY firmly believes that sustainable development must go hand in hand with social responsibility. We hope that these small contributions can in some way support the people of Muong Pon—especially the students—by giving them better opportunities to thrive in life and in their education.”

With a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to community contributions, SPHACY will continue implementing social initiatives aimed at supporting disadvantaged localities across the country.
